Lenses got tier stuff. Double use lens is like a two-for-one deal, makes everything cheap. Unique lens is gold, gets the good stuff. Armor and weapons lenses are wicked effective, especially for specific types. Runes, glyphs, and shards… not so much. But idles and keys? Cash money. Just do the math and use the right lens, easy as pie. Cheers!

Hey folks, I’m back again with another Circle of Fortune video by popular request. I really appreciate all the support you guys have given me over the last week, so please continue to hit that like button and subscribe to let me know this is the kind of content you want. It does take a big chunk of time to put all the math and spreadsheets together. Before I jump into the tier list, I’ll outline how I’m ranking these lenses. The idea of prophecies is to convert favor into something useful for your characters. A good lens will always significantly increase the amount of items you get per favor spent, either through reducing rerolls needed or increasing the yield per prophecy, which are both two sides of the same coin. To put this together, I have been cataloging all of the prophecies and also doing some math on how cost effective each lens is depending on what you want. I’ll go over this after the tier list. If you’re interested in that, stay tuned. Otherwise, let’s jump into it.

Rankings and Explanations 🥽

Blockers

So, I’ll start with the lenses that block conditions. The monolith blocking lens can actually be useful in some scenarios. This lens specifically is the only one that blocks two types of conditions. Monolith will block monolith itself and also high corruption, which is a two birds with one stone type of blocker. Next, we’ll go to the other blockers – this represents all the other ones, unlike monolith blocker, it only prevents one out of the five conditions or six if you consider the generic one.

Lens Type Tier
Monolith Blocker C
Other Blockers D

Set Items

In the current state of the game, most set items are bad, and even if your build uses them, you probably only need one set since there’s no LP to farm for or anything like that. Therefore, this lens has to be given an F tier.

Multi-Use Lenses

The two times use lens works by increasing the chance of finding a given prophecy and just cuts the amount of prophecies you need in half for a given amount of items, making it universally good and gets an easy S tier. Similarly, the two times quantity lens provides similar benefits as the double use lens, except instead of completing objectives twice, you just get the bonus immediately.

Uniques

Uniques are pretty powerful because we don’t really have many other sources to get a lot of uniques. Events like Mage chest might give one, but pretty much nothing else in the game gives a lot of uniques. Therefore, targeting them is significant and this lens goes into B tier.

Exalts

We explored in the previous video that rares actually gave more exalts per favor spent than the exalts, thanks to the 25% chance to convert rares into exalts by Circle of Fortune rank eight. If you do want exalts, you’re probably better off taking the lens for the specific type you want rather than exalt itself and prioritizing rares, which will help you minimize the favor wasted on rerolling.

Other Lenses

The lens for specific types like jewelry, armor, weapons, keys, idols, runes, shards, and glyphs can be effective depending on what you want and how cost effective the lens is for that specific type. The math behind these lenses is quite interesting to explore.

In conclusion, prophecies and lenses play an important role in Last Epoch 1.0 in converting favor into useful items for your characters. The effectiveness of each lens varies based on specific player needs and game mechanics, so understanding the ranking and usage of lenses is crucial for optimizing favor spent and maximizing item yield.
